If you've looked anywhere since 2018, you've likely seen the adorable chibis floating around in some format. Even the mini-game where there's a turntable and DJ-looking Gacha, Phantom's Remix, doesn't seem based on any beat-based metric. There is nothing special about Gacha Life's generic electronica sound. Gag on Glowing Outfits, Bump to Background Electronica These two modes turn the 3/5 Gacha Life from a clutter-filled doll's wardrobe to a casual chibi collect-a-thon. Finally, eight mini-games spice things up a little, adding diversity to what's otherwise a pretty basic dress-up game. Life Mode's a half-baked, click-based RPG aspect where you can wander around a small town forming relationships with various NPCs. There are three different modes to check out in this mobile and browser-based game: Studio Mode, as we already mentioned, Life Mode, and Gacha Games. Gacha Life is a game that's all about the cutest avatar. Everything you do in the game is in pursuit of unlocking more customization options. It has 20 customizable slots in its Studio Mode, where you can create a completely new, unique look. Customize up to 20 characters, collect outfits, and explore a semi-cohesive scrolling world with clickable NPCs.

No one wants to help newbies.Nobody tells you the important stuff in life.Everyone is out for themselves and will only think of themselves.You will be taken advantage of.You've seen the chibis on the front page of YouTube.
It did teach me all this but it also tought me that:Īll the good parts of the gacha comunity dont apply in real life. Learning is automatic and by the time you realise 2 years passed you are alredy lategame and have done most of the content for now.You can already tell anyone everything they need to know about the game. Learning isnt like in school, you dont need to memorize all the guides and recite them around. Jealousy is toxic.If someone has something you dont because they saved up rolls for months it doesnt entitle you to complain everywhere the game is unfair. What is the point of having all the best units if you dont even know who to use when.On top of that you still need to put in the effort and make use of them. I just need to know what i want and need. What gachas taught me is that there is no "perfect" just do what you enjoy most and that i should still be able to get what i want with what i have if i learn enough about the game and grind enough. These are just my thoughts on how gacha gaming teaches gamers some lessons that they may have not experienced before when playing traditional games (including the psychology of gambling). And finding the best comrades is something that requires a ton of luck and a big wallet, just like the average Joe has a low chance of ever befriending a celebrity in real life. There may never be a true ending because the company decides to pull the plug unexpectedly. In gacha games, you may start out as the hero, but acquiring loot is often a difficult and time consuming slog. In most typical video games (console/PC) you are the hero who through enough playtime you can defeat the final boss, acquire most if not all the loot and equipment, and by grinding can get a 100% completion score. I know most everyone complains about the miserly low rates on pulls and the RNG aspect of it which is also featured in the combat, but one thing gacha frustration teaches you that traditional video games don't is that randomness is a real life experience and you'll not always get what you want unless you are a mega whale or rich.
